Welcome to AMVETS Post 70

Thank you for stopping by our website. Our goal with this site is to advise our members, prospective new members and the community in general, of the activities of our Post and National AMVETS.

Our Post, chartered in March 1977, is over 800 strong and the largest Post in the State of South Carolina. We have had several different Post locations over the years and are most proud of our 7000 square foot facility in the lovely lowcountry town of Port Royal, home to the Parris Island Recruit Training Depot.

If you are a veteran or son or daughter of a veteran – and not yet a member – stop by to find a friendly, supportive group of fellow veterans. We would welcome your involvement.
